Voice Administrator- Voice Systems & Telecom Implementation Specialist

As our team drives a major project to modernize our Call Routing Platform and integrate Microsoft Teams, we are seeking a proactive Voice Systems & Telecom Implementation Specialist to take ownership of complex telecom implementations and daily operational support. In this hands-on technical coordination role, you will lead carrier number porting activities, schedule and oversee site implementations for our POTS-in-a-Box migration, and provide support for Microsoft Teams Calling environments. If you excel at bridging the gap between technical engineering teams, carriers like AT&T, and business end-users, this project is a great opportunity to showcase your expertise.

Carrier Porting & Provisioning: Coordinate telephone number porting activities with carriers (AT&T), ensuring port requests are accurately submitted, actively tracked, and completed seamlessly.

Migration & Site Scheduling: Support our POTS-in-a-Box migration project by managing implementation schedules across internal teams, vendors, carriers, and business partners. Confirm vendor arrivals, monitor on-site installation progress, and verify project sign-offs.

Microsoft Teams Calling Operations: Assist with day-to-day Microsoft Teams Calling operational support, fulfilling user requests, supporting device deployments, and resolving reported issues.

Hardware Deployment & Support: Coordinate the installation, replacement, and provisioning of Microsoft Teams-certified phones (with AudioCodes hardware).

Stakeholder & Vendor Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between engineering teams, telecom vendors, and business units. Clear communication on implementation schedules, service impacts, and phone number changes is key.

Carrier Coordination & Number Porting: Proven experience handling telephone number porting, service provisioning, and order management with major carriers (e.g., AT&T, Verizon, Spectrum, Comcast, Lumen). Microsoft Teams Calling: Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Teams Calling environments, managing user requests, and troubleshooting basic telephony issues. Project & Site Coordination: Strong background in scheduling installations, tracking vendor activities, and leading migration or deployment initiatives from start to finish. Cross-Functional Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills with a knack for translating technical updates into plain language for non-technical users and business leaders. Preferred QualificationsExperience installing, provisioning, or supporting AudioCodes Teams-certified phones. Familiarity with Microsoft Teams Admin Center or similar telecommunications management portals. Prior involvement in enterprise-wide voice modernization or POTS replacement projects.
