User Experience Designer - Product Designer (Gift & Stored Value)

Gift & Stored Value team is seeking a Product Designer with experience in tokenized design system and front-end coding skills to help shape and scale the next generation of gift and stored value experiences, with ranging audiences from SMB through Enterprise. This role will predominantly be dedicated to grooming and evolving our tokenized design system in Figma and building a sister UI component tool kit. You will also support UX/UI design initiatives across our merchant management SAAS platform and our white-label eCommerce storefront.

As a member of the design team, you will play a critical role in contributing to consistency, speed, and quality across multiple in-flight initiatives. You will report to the Director of Product Design, and partner closely with other designers, product managers, and engineers to translate evolving requirements into flexible, scalable UI systems and high-quality experiences. Our ideal candidate thrives in a high autonomy environment, is comfortable context-switching across multiple projects, and brings a "builder" mindset typically found in startup and transformation-stage teams-balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

Must Haves

- Bachelors Degree in Interaction Design (UX/UI) or similar, or equivalent work experience demonstrated in a shareable portfolio

- 4 years of experience working as a Product Designer, with a preference for startup or in-house experience

- Very experienced in building and grooming tokenized design systems with portfolio examples to share

- Experienced in building a front-end design system tool kit (Think Storybook)

- Mid-level front-end coding skills

- Experienced in designing product features and/or digital experiences end-to-end from discovery through handoff

- Experience collaborating directly with Product Owners and Engineers

- Mastery of Figma

Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator

- Ability to time manage

- Comfortable giving and receiving to feedback

Nice to Haves

- Knowledge of working with Claude Code

- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI constructively into design workflow for optimized outcomes

- Experience designing desktop management platforms (SaaS)

- Experience designing eCommerce web experiences
