responsibilities:
- Bachelor's Degree in a technology related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
- 10 years of experience working with:
- Back-end technologies: Java, Spring Boot
- Databases and infrastructure: Oracle, Kafka, Kubernetes, AWS (EKS)
- Front-end technologies: JSP, HTML, CSS/SASS, jQuery, Angular a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting webservices and API's
- Ability to write SQL queries and debug stored procedures in a SQL Server environment (ETL experience is a plus)
- Proven experience developing enterprise-scale applications using Java Spring frameworks and Angular on UNIX/Linux platforms
- Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (Maven, Jenkins, GIT, Docker, etc.)
- Solid understanding of commonly used operating systems, including Linux, Windows, and Ubuntu
- Understanding of containerization and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
- Hands-on experience developing and integrating cloud-based APIs (AWS preferred)
- Collaboration abilities skills with both technical teams and business partners
