Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers for trade data processing
- Build scalable data pipelines to support Trade Surveillance use cases (e.g., market abuse detection, alerts generation)
- Develop and optimize high-volume batch processing jobs
- Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, reconciliation, and reporting
- Collaborate with compliance and surveillance teams to translate surveillance scenarios into technical solutions
Daily Responsibilities / Priorities:
- Design, develop, and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers for trade data processing
- Build scalable data pipelines to support Trade Surveillance use cases (e.g., market abuse detection, alerts generation)

- Build and enhance trade surveillance Data Quality controls
- Investigate and remediate data quality issues impacting surveillance outcomes
- Review and understand the code implemented in Actimize AIS, then re-engineer the underlying logic into PL/SQL.
- Perform query tuning, indexing, and execution plan optimization for large datasets
- Deliver regulator ready solutions with measurable improvements in alert quality, coverage, and control effectiveness

- Regulatory driven initiatives delivered through the Oracle DB and CSDR platform

- 10 years of hands on software development experience
- Strong, production level Oracle PLSQL and Actimize AIS knowledge.
