Job Summary
Director of Information Technology
We are currently seeking a dedicated Director of Information Technology to join the management team of a growing regional financial institution.
Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), this leadership role is responsible for the overall performance, strategy, and security of the organization's enterprise information systems. You will oversee the entire technology infrastructure-including hardware, software, and network systems-while ensuring strict adherence to industry regulations, compliance standards, and internal policies. A key component of this role involves leading and mentoring the IT department to deliver robust technology solutions that align with the company's strategic goals.
Candidate Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following:
Technical Experience: A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience administering Windows environments, enterprise storage, virtualization (VMware), networking, and telephony systems. Background in the banking or financial services sector is highly desired.
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline (an equivalent combination of professional training and experience will also be considered).
Leadership: 3 to 5 years of proven supervisory or team management experience.
Core Competencies: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Communication: Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred Certifications
Candidates holding or pursuing the following industry certifications will be given special consideration:
Microsoft / Azure
VMware
Linux
Cisco
Enterprise Storage Solutions (e.g., Pure Storage, Dell, HP)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, overseeing and managing the company's technology infrastructure (hardware, software and networking), ensuring IT services are in compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures, and directing the IT staff to ensure technology solutions are meeting the needs of the organization.
Qualifications
3-5 years of supervisory experience
