Capital Markets Project Manager

Job Summary

Own the end-to-end delivery of the migration away from expensive third-party vendors (IPREO, CMG, Directbooks) toward BofA's proprietary Angular/Java microservices platform.

Standardize Agile/Hybrid delivery cadences, establish a single source of truth for tracking, and implement a trusted, executive-ready RAG status reporting system for senior leadership.

Successfully manage traditional, high-stakes milestone tracking alongside fast-moving engineering sprints (60% Angular UI / 40% Java microservices) while maintaining an ironclad documentation and governance trail.

Build and manage the critical path of the program using enterprise tooling (Jira, Confluence, MS Project/Smartsheet).

Wont be coding, they must comfortably talk to architects and engineers about Java microservices, Angular dashboards, REST/SOAP APIs, and the bank's automated deployment pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Technology Business Manager as an interface between the central teams (Business Mgmt., Governance, Finance and Op Risk Mgmt.)
• This job is responsible for the coordination and delivery of diverse administrative functions for a department or line of business.
• Key responsibilities include acting as a central point of contact for senior leadership routines and activities, financial control/budgeting and consolidation, personnel processes, audit/compliance, premises, associate training, service quality, process improvements, business continuity, and communications.
• Job expectations include interacting with a wide variety of business partners to deliver strategic work efforts to ensure tactical priorities are met
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of job related experience required
• Experience in Resource management and forecasting
• Experience in Vendor management and procurement
• Experience in Metrics and reporting
• Intermediate/Expert MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint, to track and manage many different types of efforts and data
• Intermediate SharePoint for managing workflow, portals and data repositories
• Superior business acumen
