We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. As a Pizza Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing delicious pizzas, ensuring that each dish meets our high standards for taste and presentation.

Duties

• Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications.
• Assist in the preparation of other food items as needed, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
• Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Help with menu planning and contribute ideas for new pizza varieties or specials.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when reordering is necessary.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform basic maintenance as required.

Skills

• Strong experience in food preparation and cooking, particularly in a restaurant setting.
• Knowledge of food handling safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
• Creativity in menu planning and meal preparation, especially regarding pizza toppings and styles.
• Previous experience as a dietary aide or in food service is a plus but not required.
