SUMMER 2026 DATES and TIMES
June 15 - August 7, 2026 (No Camp on July 3)
Exact times TBD; scheduled between 8:15am - 5:00pm
COMPENSATION: $17.25 per hour
Qualifications
Junior Camp Counselors assist the Camp Director in the constant supervision and engagement of the campers. Responsibilities include helping to maintain camper safety, organizing daily activities, interacting positively with campers, and contributing to a fun and supportive environment. Junior Counselors will participate in and assist with a variety of activities including arts & crafts, indoor & outdoor games and group events. They will attend all trips, help ensure the group stays on schedule, and maintain safety throughout each activity. Junior Counselors are expected to serve as positive role models and encourage campers to enthusiastically participate in all camp activities.
Junior Counselors are expected to work a minimum of four camp weeks (consecutive or non-consecutive).

Qualifications
- Prior experience as Counselor-in-Training (CIT) and/or Junior Counselor
- Experience working with children
- Must be 16 years of age or have completed the Sophomore year of High School
