Automotive Technology Instructor Randolph Technical Career Center offers 10 full-day technical education programs, each of which offers college credits or industry certifications to students as part of their high school education. Graduates of the Automotive Technology Program are prepared for higher education and/or entry level automotive positions. Randolph Technical Career Center has an Automotive Technology faculty opening. The Automotive Technology program is a full-time high school program preparing secondary students for post-secondary study and employment in the automotive field. Desired skills and responsibilities of the Automotive Instructor include: - ASE Master Technician - Five years or more of experience working in the field of auto mechanics. - Dealer certifications. - Desire to teach high school students career and college readiness skills. - Passion to integrate academic, technical, and employability skills into a program. - A proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with community partners. Proven collaboration with relevant constituencies and business leaders and/or 5 years minimum of related industry experience and required certifications preferred. Obtaining Licensure as a Career & Technical Education instructor with the Vermont Agency of Education, if not already licensed, will be part of the first 2-4 years of employment.
