RCATS seeks a Transportation Loop/Shuttle Coordinator for their Randolph County Office. The Transportation Loop/Shuttle Coordinator will coordinate and administer essential transportation services provided throughout Randolph County, North Carolina, and the surrounding areas by Regional Coordinated Area Transportation System (RCATS). RCATS provides client transportation for various governmental and human services agencies in Randolph County and transportation services for the general public. The Transportation Loop/Shuttle Coordinator will provide training and direct supervision of driving staff in daily service delivery to Randolph County residents. Maintains documentation of delivery of services to all client populations. Assist Transportation Director with the development, revision, and implementation as necessary of all RCATS transportation policies and procedures. Monitors all areas of the transportation services provided and regularly reports the operational status of the RCATS transportation program to the Transportation Director. Drives fleet vehicles on regular or non-scheduled routes, as required, to maintain the level of service needed. Receives telephone, voice mail, and written requests for client transportation. Schedules and assigns client routes, client trip requests, transit loops, and shuttles for all populations served. Enters client trip information, scheduling, and routing data needed to prepare driver manifest documents. Meets with various agency personnel and directors, county and city staff, multiple boards, and commissions to discuss transportation needs within Randolph and Montgomery County; assists Transportation Director with recommendations toward marketing and future growth; Performs other related duties as assigned.
