The GROW Paraprofessional supports students with significant academic, communication, behavioral, and functional needs in a specialized sub-separate setting. This role assists the special education teacher in providing individualized instruction, maintaining a structured environment, and helping students build independence across routines. Key Responsibilities: Provide academic, behavioral, and functional support under teacher direction. Implement modified lessons, prompting systems, reinforcement plans, and behavior strategies.
Support ADLs (feeding, toileting, hygiene) and classroom routines. Promote communication, self-regulation, and social skills throughout the day. Collaborate with the teacher and related service providers (SLP, OT, PT, BCBA). Maintain a safe, organized, and predictable classroom environment.
Assist with arrival, dismissal, and transitions. Be a team player.Terms: 182 school days, 7 hours paid per day, plus compensation for 10 holidaysTotal salary: $37,390
