Triage Call Center Nurse

 Performs and/or coordinates a variety of patient care duties under appropriate clinical supervision.  Thorough knowledge of clinical medicine practice and procedures. Ability to recognize medical needs of patients and their families: ability to triage phone calls, ability to educate patients and family; ability to explain to patient and families prescribed medications; ability to review labs  per doctors orders; ability to make referrals as needed per physicians; ability to get drug authorizations as needed.    Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN program.  Current NC RN or LPN license required.  Current BCLS.  Ability to read and communicate effectively in English required. Minimum of 5 years experience in Primary care physician’s office preferred, and or previous nursing experience in Medical/Surgical and or Pediatrics.
