What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Officer position at Randolph Health?
Responsible for the professional security protection, safeguarding, safety and security of assets, property, personnel, and all visitors of Randolph Health. The Hospital Security Officer is also responsible for patrolling hospital buildings and grounds to prevent fire, theft, vandalism and illegal entry. Assist staff with unruly visitors and patients and contribute to plant safety and environmental conditions. Perform a variety of tasks using service excellence standards. Complete responsibilities in a manner consistent with organization's policies, goals and values.
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree preferred. Must pass background check with no disqualifying criminal background or convictions. Must have strong customer service skills and demonstrate good moral fitness and ethical standards. Valid NC Driver's License and insurable under hospital's insurance policy. Minimum one year safety or security experience required. Hospital or hospitality experience preferred.
Salary : $15 - $24
