What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant position at Randolph Health?
Provides assistance, instruction, supervision, and specific exercise and treatment to patients under the supervision of a Registered Therapist. Demonstrates knowledge of treatment plan and procedure modifications that are specific to pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients.
Must be a graduate of an accredited college with an Associate of Science degree in Physical Therapy. Must be licensed by the state of North Carolina as a Physical Therapist Assistant. New graduates acceptable. One or more years experience preferable but not required in an acute care facility. Familiarity with JCAHO and other hospital regulatory agency standards, rules, and regulations.
