What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Teacher position at Randolph County School System?
JOB SUMMARY: Substitute teachers are responsible for providing instruction and managing classroom environments in the absence of the teacher. Substitute teachers are required to perform all of the duties of the teachers. Substitute assignments can be for just a day, a week, or sometimes for longer periods depending on the absence period of the regular teacher.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have an Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree or a minimum of forty-five (45) college credit hours, 2.2 GPA or greater, unless a valid teacher certificate or valid paraprofessional certificate;
- Must attend Chattahoochee- Flint RESA Substitute Training mandatory by the DOE unless a Georgia certified teacher;
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate.
Salary : $80 - $125
