Proper: John Examples, 123 Example Street Improper: JOHN EXAMPLES, john examples, 123 example street, 123 EXAMPLE STREET Job Description and Requirements The Mortgage Servicing Collector will be responsible for contacting members who have gone delinquent on their mortgage and/or commercial loans in an effort to collect payments and/or negotiate payment plans. As well as ensure all commercial and mortgage servicing time lines are met and loss mitigation options are reviewed and discussed with risk borrowers. In addition, the Mortgage Servicing Collector will support the Remarketing Analyst with mortgage consignments, vehicle transportation, title releases and assigned auction support activities with vehicle consignments. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Collect payments on past due mortgage and commercial loans. Negotiate payment plans . Review member status for possible loss mitigation options . Monitor queue reports to effectively manage delinquent mortgage portfolio. Initiate foreclosure proceedings when applicable. Initiate mortgage servicing initiatives when applicable. Identify and recommend loans for site visits or inspection. Manage account restrictions and member's account services. Provide excellent and considerate member service. Maintain a high volume of outbound phone calls. Maintain a high volume of inbound phone calls. Conclude and perform auto sales and real estate closing transactions. Generate written communication when applicable. Requirements: High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. 1-3 years of collections or call experience required. General knowledge of the Bankruptcy and Foreclosure process. General knowledge of Collection laws. Ability to maintain and exceed collector performance metric goals. Detailed knowledge of various mortgage loan products. Strong attention to detail. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Commitment to excellent customer/member service. Basic user level knowledge of Microsoft Office.
