Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable:
- Process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests accurately and efficiently.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain organized vendor files and payment records.
- Payroll:
- Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Manage timekeeping system and resolve any issues.
- Calculate and process payroll deductions, including benefits, taxes, and garnishments.
- Prepare and submit payroll tax filings.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll.
- Employee Benefits/HR:
- Assist with onboarding new employees, including paperwork and system setup.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR files.
- Support benefits administration and enrollment processes.
- Assist with HR compliance tasks and policy implementation.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in accounts payable and payroll processing.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with ADP payroll and HR systems is a significant plus.
