Randi's Care is a Brooklyn nonprofit that brings exercise, music, and activities directly to senior citizens in their homes. We're hiring a reliable driver who is just as comfortable with people as with the wheel — this is a driving job and a hands-on program role.
Randi's Care pays for all your gas. Fuel costs for every workday are covered by the organization, so the $30 an hour is yours to keep.
What you'll do
- Drive our team and equipment from house to house throughout the day
- Load, unload, and carry activity tables and program equipment
- Set up and break down equipment at every stop, every day
- Engage with the seniors we serve — play along, join the activities, keep the mood light
- Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and ready to go
Who we're looking for
- Own a van or SUV (required — our equipment needs the space)
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Able to lift and carry tables and equipment repeatedly throughout the day
- Extremely reliable — our seniors are expecting us, and they notice when we're not there
- Great personality and real comfort around older adults
- Knows Brooklyn well
Schedule and pay
- Full-time, roughly 8–9 hours a day
- $30.00 per hour
- Gas fully paid by Randi's Care
