New York based Couture House Seeking full time position
Key Requirements
- Degree in Fashion Design, or an applicable degree
- 3 Years of experience in Fashion industry; ideally in a small luxury business
- Strong Understanding of fabrics, with knowledge of garment district fabric Sellers and jobbers
- Strong Eye for color
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Highly organized with good time management
- Detailed oriented
- Tech Savvy (outlook, google drive, adobe cloud,ect)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage/ Track all Couture Beading from conception to production
- Source Trims and Fabrics
- Prepare cut tickets for new orders
- Aid in the Creative projects i.e display windows and showroom decor
- Communicate with fabric and beading vendors to ensure timely deliveries
- Aid in client appointments both in design advising with Founder and Invoicing of clients
- Updating production calendar with all appointments and deadlines
- Help with all events and photoshoots when applicable
- Ability to take client and fit notes
