Position: Professor of Business

Start Date: Fall Semester 2025
Summary:
Randall University seeks a full-time Professor of Business with a Christian Worldview who is also called to teach diverse students beginning Fall 2025. This individual reports to the Academic Dean and works in cooperation with the other university faculty members. This is a ten-month, non-tenure track renewable position.
Randall University is a Christian liberal arts institution conveniently located in Moore, OK that seeks to transform students’ lives with a Biblical worldview. As a small institution with a faculty-to-student ratio of 11 to 1, successful professors create a culture of student-centered learning, provide hands-on instruction, develop relationships with students, and provide mentorship.
The RU Business Program is the largest on campus with a total enrollment of about 60 students. Currently, the program has three specializations: Business Management, Sports Management, and Marketing. The ideal candidate is comfortable teaching a wide array of courses within the major, working with other instructors in a team environment, and advising students. The program emphasizes practical knowledge and augments curriculum by creating a culture of career-focused activities such as career seminars and platforms, software cooperative work experience, and capstone projects.
Core Competencies:
● Knowledge of principles, methods, and current developments in field of Business.
● Integrates her/his comprehensive knowledge of Business with the Christian faith.
Administrative/Service Responsibilities:
● Engage in activities to support the mission and vision of Randall University.
● Participate in departmental and university committee work.
● Contribute to campus culture, including spiritual formation of students.
● Participate in ongoing assessment at the course, program, and institutional levels.
Teaching/Scholarship Responsibilities:
● The teaching load is 5 courses per 16 week semester; ≈ 90% in-person and 10% online.
● Engage in ongoing professional development and scholarship.
● Maintain regular office hours.
Required Qualifications:
● Master's degree in Business from an accredited institution.
● Exhibited evidence of continued professional growth and development.
● Successful candidate will affirm and support the Mission, Vision, and Biblical Foundations Statement of Randall University.
Preferred Qualifications:
● PhD in Business or a related field from an accredited institution.
