Duties
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales transactions quickly and efficiently
- Greet customers warmly, providing excellent customer service and answering product or store questions
- Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Upsell products and promote store specials or new items to enhance the shopping experience
- Assist with merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining store cleanliness
- Engage in basic retail math for balancing registers and reconciling daily sales reports
- Demonstrate phone etiquette when managing inquiries or assisting customers over the phone
