Job Description:
We are seeking an Entry-Level Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and interested in growing a long-term career in industrial maintenance. You will work alongside experienced technicians to support production by maintaining, repairing, and installing equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Install new production equipment as needed.
- Service and maintain equipment, including motors, conveyor systems, transmission systems, and other production machinery.
- Inspect and assess the functionality and condition of machines.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues.
- Adjust mechanical parts using hand tools and machine tools.
- Fabricate parts for repairs and machine improvements.
- Perform routine maintenance and required safety checks.
- Communicate effectively with the production team and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Prepare and submit maintenance tickets and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read or learn to read technical schematics.
- Willingness to be trained on machinery, tools, and safety procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and follow safety guidelines.
Pay: $19.00 - $21.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
