Randall
Construction Holdings is
currently seeking a top-tier Accounting Controller to work in our Apopka,
FL Headquarters. We are excited about this important role and

requirements. This is a hands-on role
that will require you to actively participate in our accounting operations
while leading others.
Position
Summary:
To maintain control of
all aspects of job costing, reporting, resources, and revenue. As the Accounting Controller, you will have responsibility for
overseeing financial statements, invoices, accounts payable and accounts
receivable processes. Additionally, you will be compiling financial reports
based on financial statements and implementing policies and procedures for
financial reporting.
Essential Functions:
- Develop, maintain, and improve
accurate accounting systems, records, and standards.
- Ensure adherence to corporate
policies and procedures for the accounting process.
- Manage monthly and year-end
closings for multiple divisions/companies.
- Manage the reconciliation of
balance sheet accounts for multiple divisions/companies.
- Lead the budget and forecast
processes in close partnership with Divisional Operations.
- Assist Divisional Operations
with the evaluation of large capital expenditures.
- Review and analyze financial
results with Operations and Senior Management including measurement to
goals and objectives.
- Work with divisional management
to ensure all revenue-generating jobs are billed on a timely basis.
- Utilize financial data and
analysis to assist Operations and Senior Management with problem-solving
and decision-making processes.
- Develop and maintain proper
internal controls in accordance with accepted accounting standards.
- Perform audits to ensure
financial and operational processes are functioning as intended.
- Perform special projects,
studies, and other duties as assigned by Senior Management.
Desired Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Strong experience in Commercial Construction Accounting.
- Solid leadership and management skills.
- 5 years of accounting
experience at Senior Accountant level or higher with previous Controller
experience.
- Solid understanding of GAAP (Generally
Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Strong job cost and general
accounting skills.
- Critical thinking and
analytical skills that reflect the ability to analyze a broad range of
issues and provide solutions.
- Strong interpersonal,
communication and leadership skills, with the ability to prepare
compelling presentations.
- Ability to communicate
effectively in written and verbal formats including individually and in
group settings.
- Excellent computer skills with
knowledge of Microsoft office/Excel products.
- Ability to read, write, and
speak English (Bilingual English/Spanish a plus).
Physical Requirements:
This
is primarily an office position and, as such, you must be able to sit up to six or more hours in an eight-hour workday, lift
light objects such as files and paperwork frequently during the day, and
objects weighing up to 10 pounds occasionally during the day. You must also be able to bend, stretch,
crouch, and lift as required by the job.
