Reality Capture Screening Technician

Position: Reality Capture Technician (Full-Time)
Location: Open- Remote
Travel Required: Yes-100% ( company paid)

Salary- $80,000- $100,000 plus bonus.

We are currently seeking a Reality Capture Technician to support our growing reality capture operations. This full-time, entry-level role is ideal for individuals passionate about 3D scanning and digital construction technologies. You will assist in capturing accurate 3D scans of site conditions using cutting-edge equipment and software, contributing to the delivery of high-quality spatial data for design and construction teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in performing 3D scans of construction sites using Leica BLK360, RTC360, and BLK2GO scanners.
• Upload, process, and manage scan data using industry-standard software such as Leica Cyclone and Autodesk ReCap.
• Support the creation of documentation and reports summarizing scanning activities and site observations.
• Ensure scanning activities adhere to company standards and job site safety protocols.
• Collaborate with senior technicians and project teams to integrate scan data into BIM and CAD workflows.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with reality capture technologies and point cloud data.
• Basic understanding of construction drawings and site plans.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with field personnel and project stakeholders.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently under supervision.

Physical and Travel Requirements:

• Frequent travel to various types of sites; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Comfortable navigating busy job sites, including walking on uneven terrain and working near active equipment.
• Ability to climb ladders, access elevated areas, and carry equipment weighing up to 15 lbs.
