Forklift Operator Needed - Mattress Recycling Facility

Certified Forklift Drivers WANTED - Mattress Recycling Facility - Fitchburg, MA

Hourly Payrate: $18.00/hr

Duties involve operating a forklift to move, load, and unload mattresses from trucks for transport.

Duties Consist Of: 

30% Operating Forklift

70% General Labor 

Responsibilities:

• Operating a forklift:
  Moving and stacking mattresses safely and efficiently.
• Following safety protocols:
  Adhering to OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
• Loading and unloading:

Loading / Unloading Mattresses for transport.

• Maintaining equipment:
  Performing pre- and post-operation inspections of the forklift and ensuring it is in good working condition.
• Working with other employees:
  Collaborating with team members to meet facility goals and ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• Forklift certification: Must be certified to operate a forklift.
• Experience with forklift operation: Previous experience as a forklift operator is required.
• Knowledge of safety regulations: Understanding of OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
• Ability to work in a physical environment: Being able to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Good work ethic and interpersonal skills: Being reliable, able to follow instructions, and work cooperatively with others.
