Rand Elliott Architects is seeking an exceptional and talented Project Manager/Architect with excellent creative and conceptual design sensibility and proven technical and problem-solving skills. This position will be involved in a variety of project types, playing a key leadership role in meeting project milestones and producing high-quality work from concept through completion. This role is expected to be an integral member of the REA design leadership team requiring excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills as well as a desire to lead and mentor.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for leading, managing and overseeing all activities and team members in the development of complex and multi-faceted projects, ensuring contract compliance and adherence to project schedule and budget.
- Interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate assignments and tasks, establishing priorities for project development, defining scope, and resolving key questions and challenges.
- Lead the coordination of consultants, technical experts, and day-to-day construction administration activities through all project phases with a high degree of technical ability.
- Act as the firm representative and primary advocate and point of contact for the client, balancing the interests of both the client and the firm throughout each project’s design and execution.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain trusted relationships with clients and ability to generate client buy-in. Represent the firm professionally to the client and community.
Qualifications
- Approximately 5-7 years of professional experience with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
- Proven ability to efficiently execute project activities, budget and schedules for successful project delivery while providing high-quality service to clients.
- Technically proficient in standard industry software including AutoCAD, Revit and Sketchup.
- Confidence in generating solutions and exploration of alternate possibilities by asking the right questions.
- Strong initiative, organizational, leadership, critical thinking and communication skills.
