Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Receptionist/Cashier to join our team and serve as the welcoming face of our organization. Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors warmly, assist with check-in procedures, and direct them to appropriate personnel or departments
  • Operate multi-line phone systems, answer inquiries promptly, and transfer calls efficiently using proper phone etiquette
  • Manage front desk activities including scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, and handling incoming correspondence
  • Process payments accurately using point-of-sale systems or cash registers, ensuring proper cash handling and bookkeeping with QuickBooks or similar software
  • Perform data entry tasks such as updating client records, filing documents, and proofreading communications for accuracy
  • Support office management by organizing files, maintaining supplies, and ensuring the reception area remains tidy and welcoming
  • Provide excellent customer support by addressing questions or concerns professionally and courteously

Requirements

  • Proven office experience with strong clerical skills and familiarity with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and proofreading
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace tools for document creation and communication
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently
  • Strong computer literacy including experience with office management software like QuickBooks or bookkeeping tools
  • Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist a diverse clientele effectively
  • Previous experience in a medical or dental receptionist role is a plus but not required; relevant personal assistant experience is also valued
  • Exceptional phone etiquette with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems confidently
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
