Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and repairs of our homes and property . Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on plumbing, carpentry, and building interior components to ensure operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment using schematics, hand tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Maintain plumbing systems by repairing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing fixtures as needed.
- Collaborate with team members on maintenance projects while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Perform painting tasks including maintenance painting of interior walls or residential painting projects to uphold facility aesthetics.
- Maintain facilities equipment such as hand tools, electrical equipment, and plumbing supplies in excellent condition for ongoing use.
- Support customer service efforts by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or tenants.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related fields such as manufacturing or building operations.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, schematics, and diagnostic devices like ohmmeters.
- Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate effectively with team members and vendors.
- Valid knowledge of health & safety regulations related to facilities maintenance work practices.
