Clean-up/sanitation crew member

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of production floors, machinery, and workstations to meet sanitation standards.
• Conduct routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste removal in facility areas.
• Use cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, and vacuum systems effectively and safely.
• Assist with sanitation procedures in food processing to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Handle heavy lifting tasks related to moving supplies, equipment, or waste containers safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas like restrooms, hallways, parking lot, and storage spaces.
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure a hazard-free environment.

Requirements

• Prior custodial or janitorial experience is preferred; experience in food production environments is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks throughout the shift required.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures within manufacturing or food processing settings.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective equipment

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
