Trade Compliance Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to oversee and ensure adherence to organisational policies, legal regulations, and industry standards. This role is vital in maintaining the integrity of our operations, promoting a culture of compliance, and mitigating risks across the organisation. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of compliance management, and relevant first aid knowledge. Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor compliance policies and procedures across all departments.
• Conduct regular audits to identify areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance requirements and best practices.
• Investigate compliance issues or breaches, documenting findings thoroughly.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure organisational adherence to legal standards.
• Maintain comprehensive records of compliance activities and reporting documentation.
• Promote awareness of compliance standards through ongoing communication and education initiatives.
• Assist in the development of emergency response procedures, including first aid protocols, ensuring staff are trained accordingly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in compliance management or a related field.
• Conduct ITAR and EAR export jurisdiction and classification reviews of hardware, software and technical data
• Ensure compliance with ITAR, EAR, and Customs regulations including providing compliance guidance to both internal and external customers.
• Efficiently and effectively manages workload to include competing priorities and deadlines, ensuring on-time completion of activities
• Uses thorough understanding and knowledge of the ITAR and EAR regulations in everyday job duties
• Strong understanding of relevant legal frameworks and industry regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• First aid certification or experience is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to analyse situations critically and provide practical solutions.
• Relevant qualifications or training in compliance, risk management, or health & safety are advantageous but not essential. Pay: $75, $120,000.00 per year
