Position Summary
Ramsey Hill Logistics is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing team in Idaho Falls, Idaho. This position is responsible for reviewing load documentation, processing invoices, ensuring billing accuracy, and supporting customer accounts. The ideal candidate will be dependable, analytical, and able to thrive in a fast-paced transportation and logistics environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Review load tickets, Bills of Lading (BOLs), and supporting documentation for accuracy.
• Identify and correct ticket discrepancies prior to invoicing.
• Generate and distribute customer invoices in a timely manner.
• Monitor accounts receivable balances and assist with collections activities.
• Research and resolve billing and payment issues.
• Communicate with drivers regarding tickets, load documentation, and discrepancies.
• Work directly with customers to answer billing questions and resolve account concerns.
• Utilize Google Maps to verify routes and mileage when necessary.
• Use GPS tracking systems to verify load movements and delivery information.
• Maintain accurate electronic records and customer files.
• Assist with month-end reporting and reconciliation activities.
• Collaborate with dispatch, operations, and management teams to ensure accurate billing and customer satisfaction.
• Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Relevant accounts receivable, accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with QuickBooks preferred.
• Experience using Adobe Acrobat and PDF document management software.
• Ability to manage multiple Gmail accounts and electronic communications.
• Strong computer and data-entry skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in transportation, logistics, trucking, or related industries is preferred.

• Ability to identify and resolve billing discrepancies.
