Overview
We are seeking a bilingual skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently and safely operating single and double forks and heavy equipment to support warehouse operations. This role requires a strong understanding of materials handling, warehouse management systems, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Shift Hours
- Sundays-Thursdays 7:00pm - 3:30am OT
- Fridays and Saturdays OFF
- Location: Benicia CA
- Pay Rate: $20.00HR
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, single/double forks of propane to load and unload materials and products.
- Move materials throughout the warehouse, ensuring proper storage and organization.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts and other heavy equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Assist in building pallets and preparing orders for shipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment.
Requirements
- Must be committed to the shift hours and days provided.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse environment.
- Must have experience with propone forklifts.
- Must have experience with single and double forks.
- Must be able to pass a 5/10-minute driving test in order to proof that you are qualify for this position.
- Spanish speaking is a plus.
- Certification in forklift operation is preferred; must be willing to obtain it if not currently certified.
- Must have knowledge of RF Scanners.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
