Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Director to oversee and coordinate programs serving the RMSRF events, programs and fundraising. The ideal candidate will lead program development, manage staff/volunteers, foster strong relationships with sponsors, donors, and community partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality services. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with excellent management skills and a passion for non profit and multiple sclerosis research funding. The Program Director will play a vital role in advancing organizational goals while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate programs tailored to the needs of individuals participating in our event programs.
- Lead and supervise program staff/volunteers providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Manage program budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial goals.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, community partners, and stakeholders.
- Oversee administrative functions related to program operations, including documentation, reporting, and compliance.
- Coordinate fundraising efforts for events and community fundraising teams via QGiv and Bloomerang.
- Monitor program outcomes and implement continuous improvement strategies.
- Work with RMSRF founder to learn and train into Director role.
Skills
- Strong management and leadership abilities with proven supervisory experience.
- Expertise in program development and program management within events and fundraising environment.
- Excellent relationship management skills to foster collaboration among diverse stakeholders.
- Solid administrative experience, including budgeting, reporting, and compliance oversight.
- Ability to supervise staff effectively while promoting a positive team environment.
- Knowledge and Skills related to excel, QuickBooks, Canva and multiple file platforms.
