Job Title: Counter Sales Associate      

Location:  Pueblo, CO      

Pay Range: $22.00 - $26.00/hour      

Hours: 7:00am-5:00pm, Rotational Saturday                   

This position will remain open until 6/22/26, or until the position is filled, whichever is later.   

Brief Position Summary:   

We are seeking a full-time Counter Sales Associate for our Pueblo location. Qualified candidates will have plumbing knowledge, and/or experience as a plumber. This position uses their product knowledge on plumbing and heating products to ensure that customers (both contractors and homeowners) have everything they need for the job. This is a fast-paced role where you will discuss customer needs, take orders, and retrieve parts for customers. This position will also serve as a back-up to Kwik Call as needed.

Responsibilities & Duties:      

Primary:   

• Promptly and professionally process counter orders by:
  • Providing product knowledge and technical advice on the appropriate application of products and solutions
  • Writing orders then prepare order for customer by picking and shipping product
  • Collect payment by either charging the customer’s account or directing customer to cashier
  • Coordinating product delivery if requested by customer
• Operate in accordance with Rampart’s established systems, policies and procedures
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment by ensuring compliance with Rampart’s safety program and instilling a culture of safety awareness through modeling and education

As Required:   

• Troubleshoot issues and communicate discrepancies to inventory control
• Courteously handle customer returns
• Provide charge account setup documentation to customers
• Maintain currency on product and technical knowledge as well as current construction trends
• Additional duties as assigned by Counter Supervisor

Education, Skills, Training, & Experience Requirements:   

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Product knowledge 
• Customer service skills

Physical Requirements:   

• Continuously (67-100% of the day) will be required to talk, repetitively use hands, arms, and legs, stand, walk, grasp, and lift 10lbs or less
• Frequently (34-66% of the day) will be required to bend over, reach overhead, crouch, kneel, push or pull, carry or move 10lbs or less, and carry, move, or lift 11-75lbs
• Occasionally (1-33% of the day) will be required to sit, crawl, balance, climb and carry, move, or lift 76-100 lbs
