Responsibilities

• Perform routine lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and well-manicured
• Maintain garden beds by planting, pruning, weeding, mulching, and watering to promote healthy plant growth
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks such as edging, trimming hedges, and planting
• Manage irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks, adjusting schedules, and ensuring proper watering of all landscape areas
• Assist with greenhouse activities including plant propagation, transplanting, and maintaining optimal environmental conditions
• Support landscape maintenance projects by installing new features such as flower beds or pathways and ensuring all work aligns with design plans
• Conduct regular inspections of lawns and gardens to identify issues like pests or disease and implement appropriate solutions

Qualifications

-Drivers license with a clean motor vehicle record

• Prior experience in gardening, horticulture, landscaping, or related fields such as farming or agriculture is highly desirable
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and greenhouse operations is a strong plus
• Familiarity with lawn care techniques and landscape maintenance practices
• Ability to operate hand tools (e.g., pruners, shovels) and power tools (e.g., trimmers, blowers) safely and effectively
• Growing experience or background in horticulture enhances your ability to contribute effectively
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail and the ability to follow safety protocols at all times
• Enthusiasm for outdoor work and a passion for cultivating beautiful landscapes
