Role Summary
As aSenior Product Manager, youll lead the development of Filevines AI-powered medical records timeline platform. Youll partner closely with engineering, data science, and legal experts to transform how legal teams extract insights from medical recordsdelivering critical features that reduce case prep time and boost accuracy.
What Youll Do / Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the product roadmap for the medical records timeline platform feature prioritization, tradeoffs, release strategy
- Work crossfunctionally with engineering, data science / ML, UX, legal/compliance, operations
- Translate medical legal domain needs into clear product specs: extraction logic, UI flows, error correction, timeline visualization
- Collaborate with data science / ML team to guide model improvements, feedback loops, edge cases, quality metrics
- Handle validation & verification workflows: ensuring extracted facts are accurate, verifiable, auditable
- Engage with customers, legal teams, paralegals, medical experts to gather feedback, validate assumptions, and test prototypes
- Define success metrics (accuracy, coverage, adoption, time saved, error rate) and monitor them
- Make product tradeoffs under constraints like performance, cost, compliance
- Support gotomarket by working with marketing and sales to package messaging, do demos, gather competitive insights
- Stay on top of AI / ML trends, legal medical domain shifts, compliance, and emerging technologies
What You Bring / Requirements
- 4 years product management experience in software / SaaS, preferably with domain experience in AI/ML products
- Experience working with or leading projects involving document extraction, natural language processing, or structured data extraction
- Strong domain curiosity or background in legal, medical, or regulated environments (or ability to pick up domain fast)
- Experience designing workflows for validation, correction, and auditability of AI / automated systems
- Comfort working with data science / ML teams understanding model performance tradeoffs, error rates, confidence scores
- Excellent communication skills youll need to translate technical constraints to nontechnical stakeholders and vice versa
- Analytical mindset: able to use metrics, experiments, AB testing to drive decisions
- High ownership capable of driving features end to end, from concept to launch
- Bonus: experience with HIPAA, regulatory compliance, legal tech, medical domain, or security in SaaS
