Bus Driver/Driver Instructor

Minimum Qualifications: -Equivalent to completion of twelfth grade; five (5) years of operating school buses in the transportation of regular and special education students; supervisory training and/or experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities. -Certificate of Completion from the California School Bus Driver Instructor Course. -Possession of an unrestricted California School Bus Drivers Certificate and a California Commercial Drivers License with passenger and air-brake endorsements; a valid California Special Driver’s Certificate (unrestricted) and a valid California Bus Driver Instruction Certificate (unrestricted) -Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DL51A) -Pass a Standard Red Cross First-Aid examination and the ability to qualify and maintain qualification for District vehicle insurance coverage.

Application Packet: Interested applicants are required to submit the following: ` Edjoin Application ` Copy of High school diploma or equivalent. ` Copy of California Department of Motor Vehicle’s - Driver License Driver’s Record Request ` Copy of California School Bus Drivers Certificate and a California Commercial Driver’s License with passenger, air-brake and all other current endorsements.
