What you will be doing
- Design state-of-the-art RF Front Ends for RF payloads, including software defined radios and digital channelizers
- Interface RF circuits with Gsps ADC and DACs
- Implement high-speed clocking architectures
- Take designs from concepts to reality
- Work RF activities related integration, test and validation
- Work closely with spacecraft integrators to prove the design and its interfaces
- Be a major contributor to the RF systems design, including specifications, component selection, modelling, design implementation and verification.
- Participate in technical reviews with key stakeholders to analyze system and RF design approaches
- Work as part of a cross-functional team in the US as well as globally
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on RF experience as well as hands-on experience with flight hardware
- Strong hands-on experience with advanced RF testing equipment, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with RF design, EM and system level simulation tools
- A background in analog to digital and RF design.
- B.Sc./M.SC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Highly motivated, team player driven to achieve high-quality results.

- Schematic capture and layout experience (Altium is a plus)
- Background through Ka-Band designs
- Understanding of Signal Processing fundamentals

The salary range for this position is $95,700 to $135,600 with the potential for a bonus. Ramon.Space will consider relevant work experience, skills, education, and training when putting together an offer for this position.
