Role Description The Program Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that SEAKR’s space electronics products and processes meet rigorous quality standards throughout the program lifecycle. This full-time, on-site role, based in Englewood, CO, involves collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and program management teams to define and implement quality plans, requirements, and metrics. Daily tasks include conducting reviews of designs and documentation, performing risk assessments, supporting root cause and corrective action activities, and monitoring product and process performance against customer and regulatory requirements. The Program Quality Engineer will prepare and maintain quality records, lead or support audits and inspections, and provide guidance on quality tools and best practices. The role also contributes to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability, manufacturability, and compliance.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated skills in Quality Engineering and Product Quality to support complex aerospace or electronics programs.
  • Experience in Quality Control activities, including inspections, testing oversight, and verification of compliance to specifications.
  • Background in Quality Assurance, with the ability to develop and implement quality plans, procedures, and audits.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management principles, systems, and metrics for ongoing program performance monitoring.
  • Relevant experience in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability electronics environments.
  • Familiarity with industry and regulatory standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001, NASA/DoD requirements) is beneficial.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills, including use of quality tools (e.g., FMEA, 8D, Pareto analysis).
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to work on-site in Englewood, CO, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced program environment.
