Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Architectural Drafter located in Phoenix, AZ, with the option to work from home part-time. The Architectural Drafter will be responsible for the creation of detailed architectural and construction drawings, collaborating with architects and designers to support planning and project execution, and ensuring that drawings comply with project specifications and building codes. Additional responsibilities involve revising plans as needed and assisting in the development of project documentation.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in creating Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings
- Strong understanding of Architecture, Planning, and design principles
- Advanced skills in Drawing and drafting software tools, such as AutoCAD or similar programs
- Attention to detail with the ability to ensure accuracy and compliance with building codes
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with architects, designers, and clients
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in architecture, design, or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of local building regulations and standards is beneficial
