Electrical Engineer and Technical Lead – Building Systems (Denver, CO)

Ramirez, Johnson, and Associates (RJA) is a growing MEP engineering firm in Denver’s RiNo District. We’re seeking a senior Electrical Engineer to serve as the technical lead for our electrical department — someone who wants to shape design standards, mentor engineers, and help guide the future of the firm.
This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, elevating design quality, and building strong teams.
What you’ll lead and design:
- Electrical system design for complex commercial and specialty buildings
- Technical oversight of high-impact projects
- Design reviews, quality control, and technical guidance
- Mentorship and development of junior engineers
- Collaboration with architects, owners, and internal discipline leads
Your leadership impact:
- Establish and evolve electrical design standards

What we’re looking for:
- 9 years of electrical engineering experience in building systems or MEP
- PE license preferred
- Strong technical judgment and communication skills
- Passion for mentoring and continuous improvement
