Tayani Institute is seeking a dynamic, energetic and knowledgeable full-time Dispensing Optician with Optician experience to work in our growing and thriving Ophthalmology/Optometry practice.
Our practice provides a broad array of ophthalmology, optometry, optical and plastic surgery services. We are a high volume, fast paced practice offering competitive compensation and benefits.

The Optician must be able to commute to any of our locations in Orange County, CA ( Santa Ana, San Clemente, Laguna Hills)
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform duties in the optical department and provide good customer experience
- Perform all billing efforts of insurance plans for billable services/products in the vision plans
- Learn NextGen Optical Management software and perform routine tasks such as sales, billing and inventory
- Manage product inventory and report discrepancies immediately to your manager
- Saturday coverage in the Optical Dept. as needed
- Assist with marketing plans within the Optical Department

- Excellent knowledge of vision insurance (EYEMED, VSP, MES & Spectera)
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Strong computer skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond for patients and coworkers in need
- Ability to work independently, but also be a team player
- Management or leadership skills a plus
- Bilingual (Spanish speaking preferred)
Experience:
- Experienced Optician
- NextGen software preferred
- Sales experience
- ABO/NCLE preferred
Salary : $24 - $32
