Parts Counterperson/ Delivery Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a customer-focused Parts Counterperson/Delivery Driver to join our Ramey Toyota parts department. In this role, you will help connect our dealership and our valued customers by providing expert parts assistance and ensuring timely delivery of parts and supplies.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet and help customers in a polite, and professional manner.
• Provide quotes for over-the-counter customers, over-the-phone customers, technicians, service advisors, and sales department.
• Making calls to other dealerships and auto part stores for quotes on non-toyota vehicles.
• Purchasing parts from other dealerships and auto part stores and writing purchase orders.
• Assisting customers with details on quotes, prices, discounts, and warrantees.
• Handles displaying merchandise and stocking shelves, notifying when inventory gets low stock.
• Check and receive stock and special-order parts.
• Unloading parts cages and sort by stock, as well as, loading and unloading the parts elevator.
• Moving and storing large boxes, crates, tires, and other heavy shipments.
• Filling out correct documentations, as well as filing them in right location.
• Maintaining a clean workspace and store area.
• Conduct all duties and responsibilities in a safe manner, always adhering to all company policies.
• Must maintain yearly manufacture training classes that must be completed, when scheduled.

Qualifications and Experience

• Confident, positive deposition.
• Hard-working and helpful to peers.
• Maintaining a consistent work schedule, showing up on time or early, if needed.
• Experience in automotive, parts, or retail sales industries is preferred.
• Experience with technology and computers.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, in relation with customers and coworkers.
• Being able to be on feet and lift a minimum of 50lbs.
