What We Are Seeking
We are seeking an experienced full-time Commercial Lines Account Manager with high energy, exceptional communication skills and a strong desire to build a career with our agency and long-lasting relationships with our clients. Our ideal candidate will enjoy helping others, be detail oriented, computer literate and love insurance.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining and growing a book of large commercial insurance property & casualty accounts with a strong emphasis on Real Estate.
- Act as the main client contact, addressing inquiries, providing proactive support, and building strong relationships to ensure high retention rates.
- Manage transactions, paperwork, and processing for assigned accounts, including policy maintenance, endorsements, certificates, binders, and invoices.
- Manage client renewal expirations, avoiding any lapse in coverage by preparing applications, marketing renewals, and negotiating with carriers on behalf of clients.
- Evaluate client exposures to provide policies that protect new and renewal clients appropriately as well as making insurance program recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records in the agency management system (AMS360) ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines and company standards.
- Partner with underwriters, carriers, and internal teams to negotiate terms, endorsements, and pricing while delegating administrative tasks to Account Representatives.
Minimum Requirements
- License: Property & Casualty (ANY state)
Preferred Skills
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- License: Property & Casualty (TX)
- Certifications: CIC or CISR
- Management System: AMS360, PaperPort
- Computer Skills: DocuSign, Adobe, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Teams, MS Word
