Position Title:
Full-Time Maintenance Technician

Compensation:
$35.00 – $40.00/hour (Depending on Experience)
Schedule:
- Full-Time: 40 hours per week
- Occasional overtime may be required
- No regularly scheduled night, weekend, or holiday shifts (except during emergencies or special projects)
- Rotating On-Call Duty

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in routine and skilled maintenance of Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants and related equipment
- Perform a range of repairs (simple to complex) on mechanical and hydraulic equipment including:
- Pumps, motors, blowers, drives
- Engines, valves, pipes, compressors
- HVAC systems, chemical feeders, filters, and bar screens
- Read and interpret blueprints, cut sheets, and equipment diagrams
- Fabricate and machine basic repair parts using welders, compressors, and other tools
- Maintain accurate maintenance records (electronic and paper logs)
- Identify and repair system malfunctions and leaks
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with facility controls and equipment
- Collaborate with subcontractors when necessary
- Support facility maintenance tasks including plant construction projects, chemical deliveries, and building upkeep
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Background and drug testing at time of hire
- Experience in maintenance, utilities, or construction
- Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
- Effective organizational and communication skills
- Respirator confined space testing – must be clean shaven - OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134(g)(1)(i)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Self-starter who works well independently and in team settings
- Capable of lifting 60 lbs. regularly and working in varying environmental conditions
- Valid Colorado Driver’s License
- Preferred: Class 1 Distribution Systems Certification and/or Water Operator Certification
