Application Engineer

RAME-HART, INC. is seeking an APPLICATION ENGINEER with solid experience who wants to further develop their skills by being part of an exciting international company. The position will give you professional challenges as a key member the RAME-HART team with responsibility for ensuring RAME-HART’s goal to remain the world's leading supplier of egg-cultured vaccine inoculation and harvesting equipment and process solutions for the global pharmaceutical industry.

RAME-HART, a subsidiary of SANOVO TECHNOLOGY GROUP A/S located in Denmark, looks to continue building its position by growing its base of domestic and international customers who utilize egg-cultured vaccine technology to produce human and animal vaccines to shield against harmful diseases. What can you expect as the Application Engineer for RAME-HART?

As a member of the RAME-HART team, the Application Engineer reports to the Global Sales Manager of RAME-HART. The Application Engineer will be responsible for all changes to the design and functionality of the RAME-HART products required for specific customer applications. The Application Engineer will have primary day-to-day responsibility for the mechanical changes required to ensure the successful integration and operation of the equipment in the customer’s facilities.

Specifically, the positions responsibilities and accountabilities are:

· During the initial phase of the selling process, evaluate the feasibility of customer requested modifications to the Rame-Hart equipment for their specific application.

· Complete all engineering of the requested and sometimes required modifications to the equipment.

· Provide management costing of any equipment modifications so that the price can be calculated and given to the sales department when the project is quoted.

· Routine updates to the product line for technology improvements and better functional results.

· Identify and evaluate contiguous equipment to add to the Rame-Hart products to provide the customer a turnkey result.

· Assist in the engineering of new products as requested.

· Hands-on training and preventive maintenance assistance when needed at customer sites.

· Hands-on testing and operation of equipment during Pre-FAT, Factory Acceptance Testing, and as needed.

What do we expect from you?

· Contributing member of the Rame-Hart team providing insights and information to facilitate good decisions by management.

· Ability to consider cost as well as functionality when applying engineering solutions to customer’s requests.

· The ability to communicate well with customers, with vendors and with Rame-Hart’s staff.

· High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation

· Ability to implement strategies and goals for Rame-Hart within the context of corporate goals and direction set by Rame-Hart management

What Skill do we require?

· BS in Mechanical Engineering

· Prior work experience with a company selling and producing specialty instruments and quality equipment.

· Working at least 5 years as a mechanical engineer

· The ability to act independently, but also as a dedicated team player.

· You need to be service minded with the ability to react to the client’s needs.

· Development of presentations including modern visualization.

· You can articulate the English language in spoken and written form
