We are looking for a well-rounded candidate to assist in the maintenance department. A maintenance technician is responsible for conducting general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment, property structures and fleet maintenance.
They will diagnose and repair, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical machinery, and equipment, throughout the facility. Their day-to-day tasks can vary greatly based on what needs attention at the time and can be fast paced and physically demanding. The goal of the maintenance team is to keep the manufacturing process 100% operational and minimize the amount of downtime.
Job Responsibilities:
- Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel, and follow safety protocol.
- Conduct maintenance of electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety regulations
- Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
- Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned (painting, oil changes etc.)
Job Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other systemsian
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
