Intern Digital Verification

Overview

Rambus, a premier chip and silicon IP provider, is seeking to hire an exceptional Digital Verification Intern to join our Memory Interface Chips team in Johns Creek, GA, San Jose, CA, Agoura Hills, CA and Morrisville, NC locations. Candidates will be joining some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world to develop products that make data faster and safer.

As a Digital Verification Intern , the candidate will be integrated with experienced digital and verification engineers developing DDR memory interface products. Successful applicants will take ownership of executing and tracking verification plans while debugging problems as they arise.

Rambus offers a flexible work environment, embracing a hybrid approach for the majority of our office-based roles. We encourage employees to spend an average of at least three days per week working onsite, allowing for two days of remote work.

Responsibilities

• Create digital verification plans using datasheets, inputs from engineers/customers, and working closely with system and design engineers.
• Implement digital test-benches in SystemVerilog and UVM to apply constrained random stimulus and checks.
• Implement Systemverilog Assertions (SVA) to check digital DUT behavior.
• Track bugs, functional coverage, and RTL code coverage
• Work with design and systems teams to close bugs as they arise.
  
  

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
• Coursework: Digital Integrated Circuits, Advanced VLSI Systems, Advanced Computer Architecture, Embedded Systems, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Fundamentals of Machine Learning, Object Oriented Programming
• High aptitude with Verilog and SystemVerilog
• Advanced verification methodologies such as UVM
• Python/ perl scripting
• Familiarity with creating constrained-random stimulus and coverage based auto-checking verification environments

The US salary range for this full-time position is $21 to $48 per hour. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions.
