What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista position at Ramblin Roast Coffee?
Overview
Looking for baristas to help us the rest of the season (Now - November). Weekend special events only.
Duties
- Preparing and serving espresso beverages and teas
- Operate POS system (Square)
- Handle cash register operations, process cash and card payments
- Set up and breakdown of the mobile. Cleaning dishes, wiping down equipment
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about food and beverage options, and provide excellent customer service
- Follow food handling procedures to ensure safe preparation and serving of beverages and snacks
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift gallons of milk.
- Must be able to work early mornings and be on time.
- Must be able to work in tandem with another barista
- Open to driving and operating a short bus (no CDL required)
Experience
- Previous experience working as a Barista or in a café environment is preferred but not necessary
- Previous hospitality or restaurant industry experience highly preferred
- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service in retail or food service settings
- Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and giving accurate change
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Must have valid drivers license
We do an hourly pay tips depending on experience.

Pay: $18.00 - $40.00 per hour
