The Rambler Motel in Chula Vista is all about groovy vibes and stellar stays and were on the lookout for a vibrant, talented team member to help us deliver a totally retro guest experience!
With our throwback groovy retro style and laid-back SoCal charm, The Rambler isnt just a place to stay its a whole vibe. Were looking for someone whos energetic, friendly, and hospitality-driven to join our front desk team as a part time Front Desk Attendant!
Who You Are:
- A people person with a confident phone presence and a knack for creating unforgettable guest experiences
- A hospitality professional with at least 1 year of hotel/front desk/reservations/audit experience
- Computer savvy with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible, dependable, and ready to jump into a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Passionate about the local San Diego scene and excited to share it with others
- Can provide at least two (2) days of availability during the off season (fall/winter) and three (3) days of availability during the busy season (spring/summer)
- Ability to work some evenings
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience with RoomMaster software
- A background in accounting or night audit
What You'll Do:
- Greet and assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, and reservations using our hotel management system
- Be the go-to expert for all things San Diego & Chula Vista from tacos to tidepools
- Provide personalized recommendations and VIP-level service
- Coordinate guest requests and ensure every stay is smooth, fun, and memorable
- Handle phones like a pro friendly, fast, and helpful
- Support fellow team members and management to keep our lobby running like a dream
- Bring the Rambler spirit to life with every interaction
